This drill bit is suitable for drilling through and centre holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. The risk of breakage is particularly low for drill bits with a diameter under 6 mm, as the shank is highly elastic. The black oxide-coated flute allows for quick chip removal. The HSS Twist Drill Bit PointTeQ complies with DIN 338. The drill bit type is N (small helix angle) with a tip angle of 135 degrees.
