COMFORT safety group KV 40 DN15 with pressure reducer (1/2) 6 bar chrome-plated (A20)

The new safety group 324 is used to secure closed, electrically heated, wall-mounted domestic hot water heaters (DHW) up to 200 liters capacity, in accordance with DIN 1988, Part 200, DIN 4753, Part 1 and DIN EN 1488. It is an aesthetically pleasing compact fitting that includes all components required for safety, such as a shut-off valve, backflow preventer, and diaphragm safety valve. The safety valve protects the downstream DHW heater by automatically opening, thereby preventing the permissible operating pressure from being exceeded. The backflow preventer prevents the backflow of heated domestic water. Additionally, the safety group 324 features a pressure reducer upstream, in accordance with DIN EN 1567, which reduces excessive inlet pressure to the required system pressure. In case of fluctuating inlet pressure, uncontrolled dripping of the safety valve is prevented. The safety group 324 consists of a high-gloss chrome-plated pressed brass housing. Claw ring seals enable an easy connection to the DHW heater. It is equipped with a component-tested safety valve, shut-off valve, manometer plug, backflow preventer, test connection, pressure reducer, funnel siphon with rosette, and chrome-plated connection accessories. The modular system allows for service-friendly maintenance or replacement of all components of the safety group 324.
